A blog about what daily life was really like in the Middle East and the daily ramblings of an ex-pat mum. That's how I started the blog. We are now home, so I'm just going to continue with life here. I am a deeply committed Christian. I love to teach about and share my faith so you'll see some of that on the blog as well. Got a comment? Please feel to comment at the end of a post. Underwater Camera Housing

The new underwater camera housing works great! The video is Munchkin #1 in the pool. We took some beach pics as well, but it was a bit choppy today. The sand was pretty churned up. Not great clarity for photos. The waves were big enough out at around 8 feet deep that Munchkin #2 kept getting swamped, so she hung out close to shore. She found 2 cuttle bones - one huge, the other little. The water was very warm today - like swimming in bath water. The hubby saw an 18inch long cuttlefish, and I had a VERY fast moving little squid go screaming about 5 inches from my face. Fast moving little suckers. Great fun. Not much for actual fish - just the little local yellow tailed guys. We always see them for sale in the markets to be made into dinner. Sigh....I prefer them swimming and happy. It just never ceases to amaze me how many different critters we see just a few yards out from the beach here. Way cool. It's not coral reefs, but I sure am happy here.
