Quick Science bit

Ok. This is just way too cool not to share! Just did a home 'experiment' with my munchkins. Go into a VERY dark/black room. Rub a balloon on your head. Touch the balloon to a FLORESCENT light bulb (you hold it in your other hand). The balloon builds up enough charge to spark as it touches the bulb, and it LIGHTS up the bulb. Truly, awesome cheap thrills. Yes, I need to get a life according to some people, but I'm just too busy having fun. Cheers. I dare you; try it.
