A blog about what daily life was really like in the Middle East and the daily ramblings of an ex-pat mum. That's how I started the blog. We are now home, so I'm just going to continue with life here. I am a deeply committed Christian. I love to teach about and share my faith so you'll see some of that on the blog as well. Got a comment? Please feel to comment at the end of a post. May our Creator's peace be upon you.

Sigh, tired tonight

This picture has nothing to do with being tired. It's just a really fun building - Mercato Mall. Actually, it has a lovely grocery store inside and some friendly places to get a coffee.

Long day today, but that's ok. Just a few more days until vacation.

My mum was asking me about 'henna', so I'm giving you some links with some good henna pictures. I'm not going to read through these links TOO well, so just note the pictures.

The last website has loads of good pictures. I hope the link works.

I'm planning on getting some henna done before I travel home for a 'winter break.'
