A blog about what daily life was really like in the Middle East and the daily ramblings of an ex-pat mum. That's how I started the blog. We are now home, so I'm just going to continue with life here. I am a deeply committed Christian. I love to teach about and share my faith so you'll see some of that on the blog as well. Got a comment? Please feel to comment at the end of a post. May our Creator's peace be upon you.

Must read!

Still in the home country. I've been doing some catching up on world events/news. This article is a 'must read.'

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/30/world/asia/30pstan.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&partner=rssyahoo&emc=rss

If you are unable to fully access the article, simply do the free registration for internet reading with the New York Times.

The PPP (a political party in Pakistan) had proclaimed to the American press a few days ago that they were happy about spy networks coming under more civilian control in Pakistan. According to the NYTimes article, that was blocked. The article is very interesting.

Peace.
