A blog about what daily life was really like in the Middle East and the daily ramblings of an ex-pat mum. That's how I started the blog. We are now home, so I'm just going to continue with life here. I am a deeply committed Christian. I love to teach about and share my faith so you'll see some of that on the blog as well. Got a comment? Please feel to comment at the end of a post. Dress in Oman

Just wanted to post some quick links about local dress in Oman. It's the most different of any other Arab country. Absolutely fabulous.

http://www.gowealthy.com/gowealthy/wcms/en/home/articles/travel/culture/National-Dress-of-Oman-1226221481453.html This one has the best pictures. I can't wait to shop in Muscat!

http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/places/gallery/oman_bedouin-women-omani-burqa.html One style of Omani veil or burqa.

Take the time; click the links. Truly worth it!
