A blog about what daily life was really like in the Middle East and the daily ramblings of an ex-pat mum. That's how I started the blog. We are now home, so I'm just going to continue with life here. I am a deeply committed Christian. I love to teach about and share my faith so you'll see some of that on the blog as well. Got a comment? Please feel to comment at the end of a post. Summer time

Been busy. Had a lovely visit with family a few hours away from our house here. Munchkins had some good down time - water gun fights, kite flying, movies, snacks, running in the sprinkler. Not to mention....tubeing a river and a trip to a massive water park. Awesome stuff....

Also, been busy with 'paperwork'. It's amazing how much stuff piles up on you when you come back to the home country for a bit. Well, and the fact that we're trying to add another 'house' into the mix. We're building with my parents at the tree farm, enshallah.

I have not sat and read news for a while since I have to use a coffee cafe's free wifi for internet. I'm disturbed about the violence I'm hearing about in Pakistan. I hope things can calm quickly for the sake of so many living there.

Peace.
