A blog about what daily life was really like in the Middle East and the daily ramblings of an ex-pat mum. That's how I started the blog. We are now home, so I'm just going to continue with life here. I am a deeply committed Christian. I love to teach about and share my faith so you'll see some of that on the blog as well. Got a comment? Please feel to comment at the end of a post. Buying a vehicle

The husband wants me in a bigger vehicle. So, I have started looking at new vehicles.

I called the local dealer. "I want to buy this vehicle on your website. What do you have in stock?" Dealer replies,"None in stock until May. Can only be registered to a 'local' or to a company. Madam, it only has 5 speed manual transmission so would not be good for you." What the$&@?! This is why the husband gets to buy the car. I spend 10 minutes talking to the dealer and I am ready to punch a wall. So, I say to the dealer, "So typical here. Money to spend right now, and nothing to buy. And I have driven many of these types of vehicles before. And I currently drive a 6 speed manual. I guess we can't do any business." (Insert wanted wall punch). Blogging also helps.

You don't know how badly I wanted to tell the guy, "I bet you don't even know how to back the thing up to trailer a large boat. I used to get paid to do that. What do you drive? I bet it is an old Yugo from like 1992.

I have a bit of a temper. Can you tell?

Peace.
