A blog about what daily life was really like in the Middle East and the daily ramblings of an ex-pat mum. That's how I started the blog. We are now home, so I'm just going to continue with life here. I am a deeply committed Christian. I love to teach about and share my faith so you'll see some of that on the blog as well. Got a comment? Please feel to comment at the end of a post. May our Creator's peace be upon you.

Sitting at Home

Greetings! This needs to be a quick post since I am finger typing on an iPad. It is a very good thing to be back in the home country.

If you are a long time reader, fear not! This blog shall go on.  Once the husband is done going back and forth to the Middle East, I am going to let loose about a few things about being an expat and the repatriation process.  After all, hind sight is 20/20.

I will also post occasionally about Munchkin #2's continuing experiences with JRA.

I am currently sitting in an mostly empty house while awaiting our container of furniture. Never thought I'd miss a bed this much.  So.......since the house is empty-ish, I have been painting walls, taking Jesse Dog for walks and getting munchkins settled.

In the meantime, rest up, take a break and have a cup of coffee. There is more to come.

Peace.
